industry X fair 44 BIZNES meble.pl [ international edition 1/2018 The second edition of ‘Warsaw Home’ showed that the organizers have both: the idea and the means to organise event of a really high quality and attract architects, designers and decorators. It is no wonder then, that exhibitors – the furniture industry and interior furnishings – unanimously rated the fair as successful. If organizers are consistent and persistent enough when preparing next editions they are on their best way to creating a real European event. M a r e k H r y n i e w i c k i , A n n a S z y p u l s k a A breath of Europe on ‘Warsaw Home’ At theVitra booth, design lovers could admire many of furniture that are icons of 20th- century design, among others projects by Charles and Ray Eames,Verner Panton, Antonio Citterio and Isamu Nouguchi. Balma's and Noti's joint exposition was arranged under the motto ‘Bye bye office’ – quite contradictory in the context of the fact that both companies produce office furniture. However, the offer they presented at the fair is a kind of farewell to the classic office model.The world premiere on Balma offer was bookcase designed by Piotr Kuchciński.The Noti brand on the other hand presented, among others, ‘SoundRoom’(designed byTomek Rygalik). Ton was presenting the novelties which had been shown in Milan in Spring.The attention of visitors was especially attracted by the ‘Alba’collection (chair, armchair, club chair). In turn, the fourth model was added to the ‘Merano’collection – a club chair. Other novelties include: ‘Trapez’extendable table (previously non-extendable), the ‘Fleur’hanger, the ‘Lasa’table and the ‘Leaf’collection.
